All going to the house.

However, we lost the one we loved and made an offer on to some cash-paying carpetbaggers who paid more than the asking price.

Housing market is schizophrenic right now. It's also full of idiots who paid grossly inflated prices for their homes a year or two years ago, and are now desperately trying to get out of their mortgage payments. Unfortunately, they (and their realtor) still think it's 2014/early 2015 market conditions, and are asking for even higher home prices than before... Which is why many homes are staying on the market for 3-4 months if not more. A home that's $280,000 at best will have a listing price of $320,000+. You see them and think, "WTF".

The homes that are even remotely reasonably priced are selling within a few days.

So the hunt continues.

So I've been teaching my new coworker how to use Excel and my job has required a high understand of Excel in general. So what does my company do? Enrolls me in a Basics of Excel class..... 9 hours I have to sit in this class.

 

Get paid for doing nothing. Seems like easy money

 

I accidentally got so drunk last night that I my or may not still be dennis'd. I also blew my nose and a bean came out....

 

I wasted a semester like this.
