Friday lunches other than the meet we have scheduled I can do. Mighty Fine is a decent place. I don't like to be gone for too long even though it doesn't really matter. Hate to abuse time at work by taking a long lunch. Jimmy Johns might not be so accommodating unless you get the long table or if just a few of us are going. I've already eaten out for the week but I did get paid today and my tax refund should hit by next week so I might be able to bend my rule just once.

There's a Chinese place I like at 71 and Woodward called (wait for it) "Asia"
    http://www.muncheasy.com/asia/

I eat there often. Love their garlic shrimp and garlic chicken. Not too much food, really good price.

The web site says you have to call in to eat there. Do you really have to call ahead to eat in?

Capt, maybe you and I should start a south lunch group. I work at 71/Ben White, so I'm like a mile from where you're saying.

I am up for lunch today if you guys are?
I travel all over Austin all week, so I am never in the same part of town.

I usually have to plan everything spur of the moment.

Today's a no-go for me, have an event downtown from 1-2 and so I'm grabbing lunch with some folks from that beforehand. Bummer timing. Keep me posted if you're back in my neck of the woods, my lunches are usually pretty flexible.

I had got a PM for Mighty Fine. I should know in the next 10 minutes if I can make that 11:30 lunch or not.

Nope. I think that's just for pre-ordering. IRS and VA folks will often call it in and it'll be ready when they show up. I've never had a meal take longer than 10 minutes from when I walked in.

Everyone is still on schedule for this Saturday I presume? Did we ever update Texas Roadhouse that there might be more than just a few of us? I know we went from about 8 people to close to 20 and they don't take reservations.

When I called them, they said just to give them numbers about an hour or so ahead of time and they would adjust the dining room. My niece had her rehearsal dinner at the one in Abilene (not what I would have chosen) and they accommodated all of us just fine. I think they just play musical tables.

Nope. We chose a little farther north because it's more centrally located to the Georgetown and Cedar Park folks.
    Yes, the one in Pflugerville.
