2012 Tacoma Stereo on older models

Is there a way to install a 2012 stock toyota tacoma stereo on a 2008 tacoma? thanks in advance for your responses

 

I'm not an expert but for what I understand you can always put any stereos in your truck just measure sizes and fitments. Why stock stereo when you can upgrade to after market stereo with more options

Yeah you can buy my stock stereo for $50 in excellent functioning condition
