Those look great. If I hadn't just purchased two locking Rocky Mounts for the bed rail, these would already be on my rack. Nice design by Front Runner.

I just installed my Slimline 2 last week over the cab and shell. I have an ARE X Shell but not sure what sort of tracks are on it. I did have to grind down the little square screw plates to allow them to slide into the tracks on the shell. I used and angle grinder and about 20min later they were good to go! Here's some pics.

Looks good. I have yak tracks on my ARE shell and had to grind the tabs to make em fit as well.

So I just got my rack and one for my ARE canopy. My ARE doesn't have tracks and I'll have to drill some holes to mount the rack on there. Is everyone just drilling right through into the interior and bolting it from the inside. I see there is an option to have a rivnut but I'm not too trusting of something like that.

I'd get a set of tracks to use so you can distribute the weight of the rack+cargo.

I have the tracks Frontrunner sells. That's what my question was really about. I should have been a little clearer.

Oh ok, then yes. You're just gonna drill through the shell and bolt the tracks on it. Make sure you put a ring of silicone around and in the holes before you put the bolts in so its watertight.

Fabd up some mounts for two 6' Firestick whips + flags.

    20160604_131827.jpg

Couldn't get the other flag up due to the trees so just replaced the cb antennae on the hood bracket.

I used their bottle opener to make an antenna mount.

Hey do you still watch this? I have a question about your early outback racks are they the same set up as the slimline?
