I had a pair of BAMF DCLB bolt on sliders on my 2012 and loved them.

I got Avid sliders. Good build and holding up so far. Price point was competitive at least by $175.00 than others.

This is why the price difference. They are not frame mount.

From their website " There is no drilling or welding required to install our bolt on version. They simply bolt into the factory running board mounts. Because of the mounting location, these sliders are not intended to support the weight of the truck but can be used as steps, dent protection, and light off-roading."

BAMF doesn't make sliders for 2016 DCLB yet nor does Demello.

Im leaning toward SOS right now. Price is right and they seem functional.

The only thing that I don't like are the filler plates. In the photos Ive seen they don't look as clean and put together as the BAMF or mobtown ones. Look a little DIY. Guess I don't have to get them.

Do DCSB bolt on sliders fit on DCLB?

I want sliders for the once in a blue moon light off roading. If my sliders begin to grind on a rock, I'll be backing up. I also like sliders for highway debri protection. So that's why I want bolt-ons.

No. The DCSB sliders are about 13" too short.

The cabs are the same , the projection past the cab wouldn't be though

Yes I know the wheel base is longer.
But even if they are short...
    Can I still install them?
I wouldn't mind installing used ones... And there's alot of people who buy bolt-ons and decide to buy new ones to weld on their frame. I'm the guy looking to buy those used ones, which the majority are DCSB sliders.

I asked them same question to Eddy at SOS when I purchased my sliders because I have a DCLB, but I only wanted the sliders to go the length of the doors like they do on the short beds - just didn't like the look of the sliders going past the rear door.

Apparently the mounting locations are different so bolt on sliders for a DCSB will NOT fit the DCLB. I just had Eddy make mine to 78" like the short beds. Just picked them up today!

SOS sliders do use the factory frame holes, no drilling. Apparently there's a difference between the LB and SB.

Are most people powdercoating their sliders? Painting? Line-Xed? What's a good average price to get coating done locally (as opposed to having the builders do it)?

This is correct. The frame is "stretched" in the middle.

You could, but you'd have to drill some holes in the flange of the sliders to match up with your frame.
