Ok, so i have an 03 toyota tacoma regular cab 2.7 liter prerunner. And I recently purchased the 5100 kit offered by toytec. The suspension lift came out perfect in the rear. However I cannot adjust the 5100's to their max height (in the front) because it causes the bracket where the spindle and the Uca connect to hit my coil-over (when adjusted all the way). This is obviously not good. I want to be able to adjust these things to the max, would buying new UCA's fix the problem? Someone please help.

How high are you trying to put it? Anything over 3' you will need new UCA's

Well, i have a 3" body lift, with 1.5" spacers on the front shocks already. But i bought the adjustable Bilsteins heres a link to what I have (http://www.bilsteinus.com/products/truck-off-road/5100-series-ride-height-adjustable/) and i believe the max height to adjust these is 2.5" but whenever I adjust it to the 2.5" mark and put it on my truck and get everything re-assembled the lower bracket where my UCA and spindle meet hit my coil and the ride is rough as hell. Will aftermarket UCA's help this if so which brand would you recommend.

When I first installed my 3" Eibach springs w/ the 5100's it hit like you are talking about so I took them off, and turned the spring so the lower bracket was between a space in the spring. Then put it back on. It didn't hit anymore after that. But I got aftermarket UCA's anyhow. I don't know if these pictures help. But the aftermarket UCA's did allow more room if turning the springs don't help.

I don't advise stacking lifts. If you want your 5100's set to the max, it's not going to ride well and you really should remove the spacer lift. Just my .02

Mine are the lowest setting since I have 3" coil springs. Never had a problem with the UCA's. In fact it made it to where I could get it within the correct or as close to correct alignment specs. I was just commenting on your thread cause I had the issue of the spring hitting the same spot as you. At first I was going to try and file that sharp spot down on that lower bracket of the spindle so it wouldn't hit but then I just rotated the spring and the part that it was hitting before was between the two coils after I rotated it. Since I did have it on the 2nd setting with 3" coils it rode terrible. It's not recommended so I put it back on the lowest setting. And as @MathewMay1 said it isn't wise to stack stuff either. So I would get rid of that spacer also. You should do one or the other

Eibachs with 5100s like you have cannot be adjusted, they are designed to ride on the bottom perch. Also stacking lifts is a no no but if you're absolutely insistant upon it you'll need new UCAs and whatever else it decided to wear out in the process.

If you have combined lift with a spacer and the billies, you are way beyond the design limitations of the IFS.

A 1.5" thick spacer gives ~3" of lift. Combine that with 2.5" more from billies set at the highest position. So 5.5" of lift total?

Aftermarket UCAs will not help you.

Did it ride like a concrete block? Eibachs are stiff already I can't imagine them with the lift perch raised up.

I wonder if I took my eibachs springs off and put my stock springs on with the coils then adjusted it to the max setting with the stock springs and not the eibachs if it would still hit the UCA.

Ya kno, this is not believable. Eibach coils mounted on billies with the perch set to the highest notch on top of a 3" spacer lift. All on a regular cab. This adds up to over 7"s of lift. I smell trolldum.

Wow! I just read your other comment on that setting that didn't exist thread. Where he asked if UCA's would help at 1.75" lol!!! I commented on your response.
