Newest addition to the family :)

Now the largest camera I own by far.
Focusing is a noisy racket but the leaf shutter is so silent I accidentally took 4 or 5 photos before realizing how to work all the features ha.

Got two rolls of 120 to eat up and I'll post up once it's processed.

Any newer camera is more than sufficient. Technology advances so quickly that we often scoff at something that's not the newest and best, even if it was just that about 30 seconds ago haha.

Lots of good folks here glad to answer any questions!

Sorry if I missed it but what camera did you get? X2 with what @BuzzardsGottaEat said. I went with a Canon Rebel XS for 5 years to a Canon T4i then quickly to a Canon 70D. Sticking with the 70D until it goes out on me unless I become a millionaire.

I got the nikon eos rebel T5 package off Amazon with case lenses charger and all that fancy shit to break me into the photography scene. I wanted something that shot fast accurate pics that weren't blurry when I went out on my dirtbike. So when I'm mid air I can have somebody getting a decent pic of it. Also got it for my sons baseball so I can get good action photos of him

Right on! Play with it, enjoy it! And I think you mean Canon, not Nikon :) what lens? Remember that just because you know how to operate it doesn't mean someone else will when taking shots of you in mid air :) I can't tell you how many times I've had that happen to me when I ask strangers to take a pic of my daughter and I.
