They are summit racing brand. They're 4" oval and they stick out a bit further and are more functional than the NFab or Westin bars.

For the 05-11 you need to grind down the mounts with a dremmel to separate the two pieces. for the 12-15 there are 12 #15 Torx screws to remove then with a flat-head screwdriver carefully release the clips to separate.

The best method I've found is to put pressure between the two on one of the corners and start with the mounting point that is the furthest out. Once you've got that one separated work your way up towards the top. Do one side then release the smaller clips on the edge of the lip surround. Place a rag between the parts you separated on the one side to prevent it from re-attaching then work on the other.
It will pop right off. ;)

@kgarrett11 it depends on the what you are trying to wrap. The overhead where the map lights are 3/10. The trip around the shifter was probably 5/10. Heat helps a lot as it makes the vinyl easier to work with. Just need to keep tension on it to make to corners. I used a blow dryer and that was more than enough heat.

3M is the way to go for sure. Mossy Oak graphics is 3M liquid molded (or injected). They say this helps it keep its form after heat is applied to stretch it around curves and corners.

The real test it going to be the silver trim around the speedo cluster.

Got new shoes.. Again. Took Toyota a week to get these. 265/70/16 BFG KO2. Really happy with them. A lot different than my 245/75 KO's that turned into footballs. Leveling kit coming soon.

Also added an eaton 2 speed shift knob. Idk if I like it or not. May go back to stock but hey, it adds 20 horsepower.

Well yesterday I parallel parked in a pretty tight spot with a borrowed utility trailer and was proud enough to document it.

    IMG_1590.jpg

Today I did nd4's fog light anytime mod. I find that when I've got the camper on I go dead level or slightly nose high and its nice to be able to run fogs with my high beams since they wind up doing a shit job of lighting up the road surface in front of the truck. Now I will be able to see everything from the treetops down to the road beneath my bumper. :D

Just plasti-dip it. As much as I hate that stuff, it will work as well on chrome as paint. No matter what, whatever you put on chrome will peel at some point. Plasti-dip is easier to re-apply. Chrome isn't worth the effort to remove. If you want a permanent solution, I recommend either a color matched or unpainted surround.

Well the chrome was bubbling already so I started peeling it and now I have small bits of chrome to remove.. but thank you I should have just got an unpainted one lol would have been way easier
