I don't normally announce group buys.

Reasons are because of deals I have with vendors and I also like to keep things a surprise.

I am working with some well known Tacomaworld vendors on a suspension group buy series for everyone.

We will try and cover as many suspension brands as possible:

    OME.

    Billstein.

    Fox.

    Icon.

    King.

    Sway away.

    Walker Evans.

Again, I will TRY. Just because they are listed, it doesn't mean it will happen. For sure, we will try and cover a group buy for each brand and maybe even more that are not listed.

This group buy series will happen for the next couple of months, and may extend all the way into summer.

    Here are a few Q & A:

    1. How will this happen?

I will host ONE group buy a month for ONE brand. After that group buy is over, the next one will follow. After that second one is complete, another will follow, and another and another, etc.

    2. In what order will they happen?

I don't know. This will be left between me and the vendors.

    3. Can you hold all the group buys at once?

These are a lot of work, therefore the vendors and I have agreed that we will do one, by one. In some cases, we might be able to pull two different brands at a time. We are still working on some ideas. **no guarantees**

    4. Will this include UCAs?

    No.

    5. What is the purpose of this announcement? Start the damn group buy already!

The reason I am announcing this planned series:

These group buys are designed for people that KNOW what they want.

I am trying to avoid the following scenario:

    **EXAMPLE**

I kick off and close the group buy for FOX suspensions.

@DrFunker buys a FOX kit because he thought it was a good deal.

The next group buy kicks off: ICON.

@DrFunker realizes that he would have preferred the ICON group buy and is upset because he already bought FOX.

See what happened there? - This is what I want to avoid.

This group buy is for people that KNOW what they want.

    4. Well why cant you tell us what brands you are going to host?

Because I cant promise which brands are going to happen. The vendors are currently crunching numbers to find out which brands are possible.

    5. Will the discount brackets, tiers, and percentages off be the same for all of them?

There is no guarantee that each group buy will max out at 15% off, 20% off, etc, or that the discounts will be equal across all brands.

    6. Why can't you host ALL of them at the same time?

The vendors and I have agreed: This will create a clusterfluck. No.

    7. What vehicles will this be for?

    Tacomas, 4runners and Tundras only.

    8. Will the group buys be for individual items instead of full kits?

No. No single items like: I just want springs, or I just want rear shocks. This is for FULL kits. **Edit: some vendors might do single items - brands, discounts may vary**

    9. Can you tell us who the vendors are?

No, they want to be left alone, for now..

    10. Enough already! When does it start?

It can start next week, it can start next month. I will keep everyone updated..

The order of all these group buys will be done at an agreed discretion between the vendors and I.

    So please be patient!

Just because the "majority" of people are in the market for a specific brand, that doesn't mean that will be the first brand that will be available for a group buy.

Again guys, these series can last until summer since we will try and do one brand a month.

So if you are in a rush to get a lift, this may not be for you.

    Also,

Discounts will not be "pre released"

In other words, KNOW WHAT YOU WANT.

I am giving everyone a heads up, do your research!

Wasn't this a previous failed attempt at a suspension group buy. Sorry OP but your last one didn't pan out.

    None?

Did you see how many people ordered?

Go back to that thread and see how many people posted their orders show up at their house.

Go to the one on t4r and see everyone post the suspensions they bought.
