I want to say that I ordered the Morimoto LED fogs and Morimoto 4500k HID low beam for my 2016 Tacoma and love them. My 4500k bulbs are tight and no movement over bumps or anything (knock on wood). My original HID kit came with bad connectors but TRS made it right by sending me new connectors. I love the light output from the LED fogs and the 4500k HIDs and highly recommend them. If you're concern about possible bulb movement over bumps then just order the 4500k bulbs.

So you CAN reuse the stock grommets? Why isn't this something the people with the bounce issue are trying? @TRSAndrew , can you comment on why this isn't an option?

There have been multiple suggestions for people with bounce issue to try the oem grommets. I never bothered with the trs grommet. Swapped em over before i even installed. It might also have to do with the fact i have the 4500k kit which people dont seem to be having issues with. All i can say is they are bright and i am happy with the product. Now i just have to see if im brave enough to play with the foglights...
Edited: Keep in mind i just installed the kit and that i only drove about 25 km on highway and through subdivision.
Tho my neighborhood has lots of potholes/cracks and speed bumps.

    Pretty much stock
I swapped the oem rubber rings and still have bounce, oddly enough more in the driver side than passenger.

I bought 2 sets of 5500K before Xmas, 1 for the tacoma and 1 for my wife's van. I don't see any bouncing problems on the van at all. So it makes me think that maybe the stiff suspension on the tacoma has something to do with the bouncing. Hope the new grommet will fix the bouncing issues on tacoma

I'm putting all my money on the light housing design on the Tacoma and possibly varying tolerances.

I've had good experiences with trs before but the general consensus is that these kits are in the process of being improved?

Just the shake issue with the bulbs. New grommets will be ready soon. The hid kit is still 100% better than the leds i tried and stock, even if they shake a bit!

The most common setup is hids in the lows and leds for the highs? Any reason to not run hids in both?

Because HIDs take time to warm up and you need high beams instantly. Also "flash to pass" is bad for HIDs when they're off.
