Yeah but not factory 16's correct ? Thats why you're clearing 285's

Correct, if you run 17s youre gonna have to trim a little bit, also depends on youre offset and backspacing

    What

It doesn't matter if its 16's or 17's , its the backspacing and offset thats the key

ToyTec Boss 2.0 lift TRD Pro Wheels 265/70/R17 KO2s Mobtown Offroad Sliders
I have 265/70/17 load c KO2s on my OR DC 4x4 and love them! I dont notice any MPG loss with them, i actually notice a slight increase which is strange. They do rub on my OEM mudguards when pulling in a driveway, but nothing major. I don't want ANY rubbing so i decided to go ahead and lift it. I purchased the ToyTec BOSS 2.0 lift for a couple reasons. 1) Its meant specifically for the 16 tacomas 2) You can adjust the lift to any amount you want and are not stuck choosing between a couple predefined settings on the 5100s 3) If i later decide to get bigger tires I don't have to buy new coils or anything, i can just adjust the fronts. Anyways, I am in the same boat as you. I want to keep the 265/70/17s but dont want them to look too small with a 2"-2.5" lift. Another member sent me a pic of his truck with the exact same setup i will have and the 265/70/17s look fine to me with the lift. I can post some pictures when I get my lift installed probably next weekend.

This is the exact same lift I will be going with. Debating on the 265 vs 275 for same reasons. Hope that it wont look to small? if you could share those pics that would be great!

Okay is the 265 on 2.5 lift cause they look bigger to be honest than the 275 pic unless the 265 pic is stock height
