3rd Gen Quicksand thread

I'll just put these here.

 

Alright boys and girls build date of March 9th delivery hopefully at the end of March!!

 

I bet you are about to go crazy waiting. You won't be disappointed in the color choice. Of course you will have the people that just hate the color but that is why I like it so much. Still have yet to see another QS in my area.

 

Yep, doesn't matter what other people think of the color, it's what YOU think of the color that matters.

 

Completely agree.. Makes it that much better IMO

 

That is exactly what matters. If others don't like the color, they don't have to buy it. Unfortunately, people love to force their opinions on others. Personally, I love the color. I don't see anything else like it.

I was on the fence between picking the white or QS, decided there were plenty of white trucks already, time to be different.

 

I waited to see one and couldn't find one to look at in person so I took a chance and ordered in quicksand and couldn't be happier as it looks much better in person then it does in the pics....!!

 

Exactly why I made my decision. I had every intention of getting white, and when I was on the way to the dealership I passed 2 white ones. That is what made me decide QS.

 

I go back and forth. My neighbor has a MGM in an older model, two coworkers have Silver 2016's.... Each time I'm undecided I just look around and go right back to the QS.

I almost bought a MGM just because I couldn't find a quicksand in my area to save my life. Especially in the package I wanted TRD OR DCSB. Went to the dealer to get a MGM DCSB Sport cus I just wanted the new Tacoma so bad and while driving through the lot we found an SR5 that had just arrived the night before. I test drove it and took it home. The rest is history.

 

What options if you don't mind me asking?

 

On the one I bought or the MGM I was looking at?

Very nice! Nice to see a chrome bumper on there. What wheels are you using? They look nice.

 

I like. Very nice. Dafuq is that contraption in your bed? It looks like it could sprout wings and fly. Those seats can only be pulled off in a quicksand. Not my taste but it totally works. Nice looking rig.

 

As it sits right now! Next week I will be adding my wheels and tires.

I picked it up 11/30/2015 and since have added LED interior lights, LED reverse lights, LED license plate lights, salex organizer, 5% window tint, 50% windshield tint, Hella Supertone horns, OME 885 With nitro charger shocks all the way around, 1/4 top spacer on both sides, OME trim packer, and Deaver 2" AAL.

After my wheels/tires and headlight upgrades, I'll be done for awhile since the girlfriend wants to go on vacation.

 

ProComo 7036. Actually going to plastidip the bumper too but ran out of tape.
