old school TOYOTA tailgate decal

anyone put these on their tailgates? i purchased a white one for my 03 tacoma and really like the old school look. ill post pics once i get it this week. if anyone has pics of tacoms with the decals on them please post

 

I have one on my truck. It's a 97, so it came stock with it.

 

Well, where did you get it? I have a 96 (so that decal was stock), but it has a 01-04 tailgate so it is missing that decal.

 

i;d love to have a black decal like that one.........not sure how good it would stay on my bedlined tailgate tho.

 

I've got one. This is a 2nd gen. tacoma though...

I ordered it online somewhere. I just searched for "Toyota logo" or something on google and found it. It was like $8

What a great link! Those decal packages brought me back, 1987 & 1988, 1990 and 1995 pre tacomas.

This a.m. saw on old 92 on the road (they are far and few between here without being rust buckets). The old school stamped on the recessed part of the tailgate was certainly a trademark for sure! Awesome looking decals!

looks good if mine wasnt all black I would get the decal. What lift and tires do you have? I like the factory painted wheels I still have mine thought about doing that too.

 

toytec 3" lift with bfgoodrich all terrain 265/75/16. yeah $5 mod on the wheels lol but not that shabby lookin

 

Does anyone have the size of letters used ? I have a friend who makes stickers for a living so I want to try and support him instead of eBay

Man that looks awesome, been thinking of getting a red decal like yours for my 2nd Gen black, I'm eventually going to black everything out including rims, headlights and taillights with the exception of the tacoma badges on the doors and the v6 badge and was thinking of applying this decal in red on the tailgate, what do u guys think?
