I'm not liking how the hood scoop reflects sunlight directly into my eyes much of the day... if it weren't there, the sun would reflect at a different angle, but it hits me square in the eyes.

If its a serious problem I bet people would trade their non-scooped hood with you for sure. The hood is in high demand.

What color do you have? This isn't a problem with my mag gray sport. At least I haven't noticed it.

Yea, I'm sure a lot of people would do a straight up trade, actually you could probably get a trade and some cash for it.

Personally I dislike the fake scoops though ;p

I think a hood scoop that doesn't do anything is ridiculous. But that's just me.

There are plenty of people looking to buy the scooper. As mentioned, you could probably sell and pick up a non-scooped for very few dollars.

I have issues with this also especially this time of year with the sun low in the sky during the evenings. Visor helps none. Having said that I still dig the looks of the fake scoop on the Tacoma.

Yeah when I first bought my truck that got to me too but I think I got used to it because I don't really notice it any more. Either that or its because my truck sits in my garage 6 days out of the week!!!:eek::eek:

True, but then who wants anything to do with Joe Pub anyway? Hell, we're gettin' sidetracked...sort of.

Sometimes glare pisses me off too.

Normally I'd say I wouldn't like non-functional, but I like the one on the Sport. Then again, even if it WAS functional, it's not like it's really making that much of a difference, at least in regards to if it was ducted into the intake. Different with something like the Subie posted above where they have the top mounted intercooler it's feeding.

I have a SWB Sport and get glare periodically. it would probably help if I didn't wash and wax so often but I guess that's not a bad problem to have.

Take a different route to your destination and avoid the sun.

Leave for your destination earlier or later so the sun is lower/higher in the sky.

It's really not that big of a deal. I get it sometimes....

Splatter some mud on the hood scoop.... ;)
