I was wondering because they do stick out a little wider than the tires. I agree that if they line up there should be no change.

I am happy with the oem mudflaps. They are stiff but they work great and there is no "gap"

    image.jpg

The mud sling behind it was before they were put on... That would have been prevented:broccoli:

Nice, doesn't feel like they'll rip out if there's snow build up or anything? I ordered mine Thursday for a truck I haven't received yet. Should be getting my truck some time towards the end of the month.

No they are great. Took it up in the WV snowstorm a couple weeks ago and it was packed with snow and ice. Did fine

Your truck doesn't have fender flares, right? Which MudFlaps are those?

My truck did not come with fender flares. They are the regular Rokblokz for the 2016. I did have to purchase the plastic inserts from Toyota where one of the j brackets screw into on the bottom of the flare.

Old thread, but I have had these on for about two weeks as my daily driver and two weekends out in snow and light dirt trail.

They do impact MPG! I've lost easily 1-2 MPG with these on. I purchased the regular sized ones and I hear the wind noise they produce. I've already adjusted the holes to tuck the front ones closer to the body and I still pick up quite a bit of wind noise. I'll probably trim these on the inside and narrow them up a bit in front to see how the fare. These things are definitely paddles. While they work well, they're probably not aero tested like the factory stuff is. I may need to find an alternative to these and the rigid factory ones.

This is a long shot...which size did you get? Regular or XL? Mine have gaps... I do not care for them

those things in my opinion are way too wide and just don't jive the truck a good look...I prefer the OEMs... Mine fit fine and look good too

    Thanks,

x2, i have the XL's w/ 265/75/16 tires. i think it looks great, i love them and have no tire rubbing issues at all, they are great minus ' the gap'.

Last October I purchased some rubber sheets from the rubber company next door to my work and hand cut out some rokblokz out of rubber using my rokblokz at templates and made them longer so I no longer have splash on the side of my truck!

    October 26, 2017:
So over the weekend I finally got around to making some new mud flaps so they will be longer to get less spray on the truck especially come winter! Took my Rokblokz and used them as a template to make my new ones out of 12" x 24" rubber sheets from the company next to where I work! $89 for 4 sheets!

Just ordered a set of the regular RBs. One of my factory rears ripped off after an driving around a lake ice fishing and my fronts rub with my new tires, hope the RBs fix that.
