If you have squeaky leaf springs toyota announced a recall. They are know offering a whole new kit that holds together better. I know a lot of people are out of warrenty and wont go to toyota but if you go know mention a recall and if needbe they contact toyota headquarters like mine had to. Just posted this to let you squeaker out there know

Sounds fishy. A squeaking spring hardly sounds recall worthy, especially for Toyota.

Are you refering to the recall for possible broken leaf that may punture the gas tank? Old news.

I don't think so. But the OP said a "recall for squeaky springs". Can't imagine that would be a recall as it's not a safety issue. Maybe a TSB....but not a recall.

On a side note....I've had my '15 for 8+ months and 11K miles and not so much as a peep out my leaf springs in all sorts of driving conditions and temps.

Consider yourself lucky. Mine have been noisy since about 3K miles. But other than that I love this truck.

It is a safty issue when it shreds bushings and breaks the springs itself

When they shred bushings and break springs i think toyota would want to fix

A squeaking spring and a cracked spring are two completely different things. There is a recall for cracked springs, and a TSB for weak springs, but nothing for squeaking.

Is there a chance that you are getting this done under the warranty? The dealer I used was very generous with warranty repair. I was able to get them to perform all of the TSB work while I was covered (7yr/100k) as well.
