Thanks! The SCS wheels were definitely on the short list. I went with the BFG KO2s. It was between that and the ST Maxx, but the KO2s were about 4 pounds lighter per tire. Plus they just look the part...

Those are great tires and look good too... I'm running them on mine and have no regrets. You couldn't go wrong with either one, IMO

Honestly, I wanted to go with the ST Maxx because of their reviews...but I just loved the look of the KO2s. I figured since I loved the look and could save a few pounds, then why not?

LOVE my st maxx, but if 4lbs is for real that's awesome.

Rotational and/or unsprung weight is such an important thing to think about, most don't even consider....

I had to go to an actual Cooper dealer here to get the weight difference on the 275s. He said that was the first time in 30 years that someone had asked him about tire weight, which I don't believe, but he said that the 275s in the ST Maxx were 59 pounds. Honestly, the BFG KO2s and lift have only netted a 1 mpg loss over stock so far. I drove about 100 miles today on the new tires/wheels and lift and the difference had me thinking that I may have put too much thought into the whole thing.

Damnit... I think Im going to have to order a set of those 4R wheels before they become too hard to find. Then again I kind of like the new Pro wheels as well.
