most of the money we make the government gets so basically we are just making money for them. they take taxes from our paychecks, than when you buy stuff you pay tax on that, than at the end of the year they feel you didnt pay enough taxes so they charge you more taxes. geesh if you are gonna bend me over atleast give me a reach around would ya ! so how much of the money we make is actually ours?

 

Interesting. Out of interest, I'll have to do some reading on the subject. And, btw, my public indoctrination program (school) didn't teach it. I'm not against your point (to say the least) I do however have some questions remaining. First, if it were true, how is it that it's been happening so long without legitimate challenge and second, I actually don't have a problem paying taxes within reason and as long as everyone has equal skin in the game.

 

If we actually "feel the Bern" and he's successful at getting his plans in place (I doubt) I for one will switch teams. All you bastards keep your jobs because I'm going for that free education in a different career. Oh, thanks in advance if that works out for me.

I just got some kind of $1K property tax refund check from NY state, and my wife snatched it from my hands in milliseconds. I'm told it will get taxed by the Feds next year, so we might as well put it the bank.

Other than that little tidbit of information, I don't have a clue what my tax situation is. My wife doesn't let me get anywhere near our finances. Which is a good thing. Because I would have spend thousands on upgrading our truck lately.

Instead, I stalk the Cheap Mods thread.

 

Fuck the Gov't, Fuck Water& Sewer, Fuck Cable, Fuck Hospitals, Fuck not having enough ammo cases (the real issue), and Fuck my bank.
