He makes them. And using a Sony unit with an app on the iPad that allows you to switch between am/fm/satellite/etc
And the price is more than fair in my book of you look up the alternatives... This is cheaper and looks better. Check out his link. Shane goes into all the detail of how these are made.

That link did not show a build on it. It shows pictures of what he makes not the hardware that goes into it.. like what fm module does he uses? I pads don't have a fm chip build in so it has to be some accessorie that attach to the ipad.

He uses a Sony head unit (Sony GS610bt I believe) that sits behind the iPad. The Sony head unit sits behind the iPad. The iPad is connected to the Sony head unit and it acts as the screen for the head unit using an app that was made for that unit. Shane does it all from making the insert to hold your iPad. To making a wiring harness that will allow you to still have use of your steering wheel controls, etc.
@shaneckc please correct me if I am wrong in any of this.
I've seen a lot of pics/vids from other members who have his stuff and it seems to hold a lot longer than the stuff you can get off random webpages. (Which costs more btw)
It took me a couple months to bite the bullet and buy but I'm excited I did and can't wait to get my unit. If your even the slightest bit interested in this you'll eventually end up buying it too. Do some research and you'll see that the cost is more than fair for what you get. Plus his stuff and the way it's made will last longer. The only time I ever see anyone trying to sell his stuff on the side is cause they sold the truck and went back to stock. But everyone who has it loves it.

Would you happen to have the dimensions you used for this? Or a DWG drawing? I would like to get one made as well, but I don't know the dimensions for the fuse block, etc...

Follow up to my earlier post, this is what the fuse block mount looks like installed. Now to buy 2 batteries, the mounting plate for them, and battery cable supplies.

The wife got me a rear Husky Liner for my BDay (already had the fronts). Install wasn't too bad

Thanks @Captain Taco for helping to answer questions on the iPad kit!

I make the kits, check out the link in my signature for more info. The Sony radio installed behind the iPad allows you to retain AM/FM/SAT/CD/Bluetooth streaming & calling from your phone, steering wheel controls, etc...

That's how the one that I pictured is set up. It's the best way to retain all features and functions.

I won't be showing how the kits are made in order to protect my intellectual property, but I can say that they are made using 100% ABS chemical bonding methods of purchased and 3D printed parts, combined with a refined and precise method of construction. Unlike most other places that make custom dash pieces, these are made with a minimal amount of body filler which ensures a higher quality and more resilient finished part.

I was bored today...so I built a jig to lift the truck from the rear-end. You can jack it up from the diff...but I wanted something a little more stable and spread out the load more. It's also safer as it's a lot less likely to slip off like a jack by itself might. Plus I don't mar up the pumpkin's finish. Lifting both wheels off the ground at the same time makes quick work of throwing on and taking off my snow tires as needed.

Yeah...I feel the same way. I have family that works in the oil industry and feel zero sympathy. Everyone else had to scratch, fight, and claw to make ends meet for the last 5-6 years while the oil industries made record profits off the backs of people who were already struggling....it is about time they are forced to trim the fat and learn how to survive charging a reasonable amount for their products...like everyone else has...
