    Me too.

Don't set up your own gears though. That actually requires more than taking it apart and putting it back together in reverse with a basic socket set. Or so I'm told.

Haha I'm a little more advanced than just a socket set. But pretty sure gear setup requires a press, which I don't have yet lol. But I try to buy a new tool I've never used (or needed) at least once a month

So I went to rotate my tires today and found 1 lug nut missing and another stud sheered off on my front passenger wheel. The rest of the lugs on that wheel were cross threaded as hell and way over torqued, so I'm assuming Firestone or another shop I brought the truck to for service fubar'd the wheel with an impact wrench, but that was 3k+ miles ago. Just glad the wheel didn't fall off on the freeway.

What's involved in getting a new stud pressed in? Definitely in uncharted waters here.

Pull off the wheel and the rotor and pound out the stud with a punch and a BFH. Get new studs and seat them with an impact and an old lug nut.

Ask me how I know. (post 1095) .....

Maybe I'm missing something, but clicking your link just brings me to the top of the page around post 1121 in this thread where folks are discussing gear ratios for 35's

It really is about that simple. A real press is better, but you can use a BFH to get the old one out, and a steel lug nut, combined with a couple washers as spacers to pull the new stud in.

Do I need to disassemble the caliper?

I'm hoping to swap it this afternoon if I can find the parts, so I'm trying to get my ducks in a row before I start wailing on it with a BFH.

Nope, but you will need to take the caliper off to get the rotor off. Take the cap off the brake fluid reservoir, and un-bolt the caliper from the spindle, them you can work it off, just be careful of the flex line.

@jberry813 or anyone else who knows shocks. Do you have a preference on brand or weight of shock oil?
From what I have read King uses a 7wt. Are there any performance gains or losses from 2 -7-15 wt oils synthetic or non?

    ...too much shit to list.
Just be consistent with whatever you tuned with. You start changing weights and it will change the dampening profile

This is my 1st build on these 12s. I'm going from Kings suggestions for valving. They didn't mention what weight oil. I could always call I just wasn't sure if you had any valuable input to share.
    Thanks man

Called into King and spoke with the same guy who setup the flutter stacks and he did it based on Kings 5wt oil. I'm glad I didn't get any Lucas or another different wt oil cause it would've fucked up all the work that's been put in.
So today I'm picking up a gallon of that stuff along with 4 spherical bushings because they needed some TLC as well.

    So many lessons learned
