Karma never really dictated anything in NV like it did in F3, it was more the factions. Like wearing NCR stuff would automatically make you hostile to certain people.

Ok so this is really bugging me, something at sanctuary is keeping my settlement happiness at about 58% I have about 19 people, 26 beds, 120 defense, 100something water, 30 food, and adequate power. No known kidnappings or anything and just a couple Preston settlement quests still active, I don't know what the hell is keeping it low. It used to hold at about 81%.
Also all 3 tier shops.

 

So, just FYI...if you ever get it in your head to collect all the magazines....you might be at it a while. I'm not done yet, and I...

Got any decorations and a Brahmin feed trough ?

 

Yeah I have 2 Brahmin and troughs, scavenger station, decorations. Now it's at 50%. I'll ask them if they need anything and they complain about the bed situation when there's more than enough.

 

Oh , yeah , theres a stupid glitch where your settlement stats go haywire if you check them in the Pipboy > Data > Settlements when you aren't there , some people seem to think it occurs when you fast travel from inside a settlement crafting area but I've found it makes no difference and occurs occasionally anyway . If you go to that actual settlement all the stats except the Happiness rating correct themselves , the Happiness rating goes up but only from whatever the false rating starting point was . If the glitched stat showed too few beds or water or whatever , the settlers will complain about it when you get there even though it was a false stat .

 

You're talking about the stats from the pipboy? Cause when I'm there at sanctuary and go into workshop mode it'll say it's at 50% and everything is adequate.
And in the pipboy it'll say 50% on both the location and the settlement stat list and 4 beds. Now that I just fast traveled there and back the stats say 27 beds and 50%.

They should've fixed that on the update.

As an aside , I currently have 40 settlers at The Castle , I didn't believe the stat , but I went there and I actually somehow have 40 settlers

 

I definitely think it's buggier post patch

 

Mine glitches once in awhile in the pipboy where it shows zeros across the board. I thought my whole settlement was slaughtered so I fast traveled and everything was okay.

I just did "The Big Dig" (love the quest name) for Bobby No-Nose for the first time. At 62, the partial power armor suit I found along the way underground was an X-01

 

How did you end it , side with Hancock or Bobbi ?

 

I made a split second decision and ...well, Ms No-Nose developed a sudden and traumatic case of ESS (Exploding Skull Syndrome) while I happened to be somewhere behind her and to the left.

Now Hancock is all BFFy and I made some cash.

 

Go to another settlement and grab some that you scrapped from a work shop, carry it to the settlement you want and drop and scrap it there
