Did a little baking......One black set of 05-11 headlights had a loose reflector and were donor bezels for my soon to be modded retros. The other set were my d2s/apollo morimoto retros. I wanted the bezel from the reg set for the fresher black and really yellow blinker lens. The other thing going in the retros were the clear reflectors. The donor black halogen set got the light yellow blinker black trim bezels with amber reflectors. So here's where lights met oven one at at a time until all 4 were open. Bezels swapped, clears on retros, cleaned lenses, resealed after reheating each one again. Ended up just like I wanted....after switching to clear blinker bulbs instead of amber.

That may happen.....maybe not. Safe bet though, gas prices won't hold this low forever....But. I'll take it while I can get it. Every month I save $400+ on gas is like finding money.

44 years ago, when the "gas crisis" was just getting started, if anyone would have said we'd be paying $4 a gallon for gas someday, most people would have thrown in the towel and said we wouldn't survive that. It did.....We did.....and we could do it again if we had to. Meanwhile, enjoy "low prices" while we have 'em.

Canopy, Lund side steps, 42" light bar behind the grill, Custom mud flaps, Hood and Window visors, Firestone airbag rear suspension, Undercoated, Husky X act fit floor mats front and back, Door sill protectors...... More to come.
We ended up stripping a ton of the old paint down and painting the entire thing with an elastomeric/waterproof paint. We still have the original Princess stove in ours.

I picked these up from Frank Motors out in Cali. I had to send them a pic of a Trail Team FJ's vin before they would release them though. I think they are a little easier to come by now.

Washed friday. Clay bar and wax saturday. Wax again and interior Sunday. Man my shoulder needs a break. All that work and the results are awesome. Smoother than when I got it. I believe you need to clay bar the sides once a year but definitely do the hood and roof whenever you wax.

Not mine but my dad's '07. I installed some 5100's on all four corners for him today. Rides much better now as most people say. He's stock all the way around, no TSB so the .85 leveled out the stance pretty nicely. Pics kinda crappy since it was getting dark when we finished.

Installed my CB in the center console today and added a small external speaker up under the drivers side dash. Put the Firestick II antenna in a few weeks ago, but just tuned it. :D
