    Hey peeps,

I'm looking at doing a complete exhaust overhaul on my 2015 Tacoma. My goal is to find a system that sounds halfway decent (more throaty than raspy) but, more importantly, adds more torque. I'm planning on keeping my engine naturally aspirated so let's keep away from all that "boost" talk.

Does anyone know of a link that shows actual numbers for HP and Torque? I've read that the AFE system adds about 22 HP and 29 Torque. I've also heard that the Doug Thorley system is pretty good for HP but lacks the big increase in torque.

I'm currently running the Volant intake with the ram-air system and plan on getting the engine tuned once exhaust and everything is done.

Thanks in advance for the help and advice.

Also might want to look at URD Spec U headers I think they increase power throughout all the power band

Thanks TacoJova, but I've heard you have to cut part of the frame to get the urd headers to fit. I was looking at their Y-pipe but the AFE Y-pipe looks like it might be a little better(?)

Get a equal length long tube header. That will provide you more torque and move the peak torque rpm further down the rpm range.

The URD u spec one is. The afe doesn't look like it. Plus your paying for the cats that come with it.

It was on a review I read a while back. If they truly are exact replacements like you say.. that's good news!

Huh I'm not sure I know they won't work with the total chaos gusset but if your truck is stock you don't have to worry about that

Yeah might want to call and ask but check on URD'S website because I think it specifies what it works with.
