What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

No cb usually have internal speakers but if you want something louder you need to plug in a external speaker

 

I don't know why I thought that

 

with the CB in the center console, the audio was a bit muffled, so with the external speaker it's nice and clear, and I can close the console lid and still have the mic out....

 

How hard are these to install? Is it just unbolt and swap them out?

You obviously haven't seen one of these in person and you obviously have no idea what quality fabrication looks like. Shane really take the time to make these trim kits perfect and a lot of work goes into the production. Go look at the competition, there isn't much, but Shane's kit is the best on the market. You won't find another kit that fits and follows the lines of the dash trim as well as Shane's. I drove away from his place feeling like I got my monies worth. Everyone who has been in my truck today can't believe it's not factory, I have to tell them I had it made.

 

Wow that looks great! Kudos on the design, I'm sure it took a lot of trial and error to get it to that point.

Do you have clear write-up with wire colors for 2012+? Found only for older.

Same radio as me. Same location as me.
I use me truck speakers with audio aux input.
I used to jam the music but when with people i dont use tunes, it can cause trouble and be a distraction.

It says it's a direct oem replacment so i think uninstall old install new.

 

Air and cabin filter after 47 months / 53,000 miles

Got this bad boy all cinched down, and changed my cabin and engine air filters

 

Just dropped it off for a leak test

I have my fingers and balls crossed it's the 3rd brake light or the rear slider channel clogged up.

If not....$700 out of my fuckin pocket for a new rear slider
