I'm not bullying anyone and before you call me out based on your perception perhaps you should know that over 80 posts have been removed from this thread and 3 people banned for 7 days each.

Your last banning was because you posted something deemed inappropriate and as for warnings, there's the Code of Conduct and a post in the 3rd gen section warning people. It's not my problem you failed to abide by them.

This thread is weird. I posted about not believing OP's time line yesterday and my post got deleted. Is there a rule about criticism on the forums that I need to know about? As a new member it would be nice to know cuz I plan on sticking around. This place is cool. Peace.

To be honest I've never changed a flat tire myself, never actually needed one changed while driving (knock on wood). I'm trying to imagine myself in that situation. If I were alone I may have done the same thing, then watched the person do it so I know how to do it myself the next time.

If I had a cute girl with me you best believe I would be youtube'n that shit on the spot, or checking the manual while she checked her Facebook, and did the fix myself. Or at least attempted to. That's a sure path to "pound-town" when all is said and done.

One other thing I've noticed here is the expectation that ToyotaCare or any other roadside service is waiting for you to call and will have a truck immediately. I have used Roadside Assistance from Infiniti, USAA, Hertz and a few others I'm forgetting and most of them contract though Cross Country who in turn contracts to local tow companies. If you are in a place with not much around or it's slightly busy it's gonna be awhile. AAA is no different. Be glad they came at all, I've called before when I was stranded with a bad starter and 6 hours later they asked if I still needed help, that was a bad night but I'm glad I have friends that don't mind a 3am wake up.

It's not Toyota's fault the tow trucks were busy. If you deem buying a Tacoma was a bad idea because of this, you're going to be equally disappointed with your next vehicle.

You'd wait a bit longer than 6 hours for a buddy from NOLA to get to SC.

Maybe he thought he was acting smug.

Or maybe he thought he was acting ugly.

Or maybe it was a little of both
