got my rocker panel decal installed, now i want to debadge the doors, best method anyone?

 

I started with some floss behind the t but when i peeled it up it looked like there was alot of residue still on the door, which i dont want. I also took off the clear plastic shit on the lower bed and fender flare since dirt was creeping under it

My cabin filter is 8 years old with 75,000 on it. I'm afraid of what it might look like now.
