    I was just saying I have km2's and really like them. I guess I was just associating with the brand saying that I like em is all.     other than them being stupidly heavy lol, ill be getting a set for my 1980 PU. but I need to save for gears and buy everything at once lol....god that 4 banger would hardly do anything on stock gears with 35s lol

    Haha, I love Intercos, but even I wouldn't put then on a vehicle I put even average yearly mileage on. They are too soft a compound, which is great for getting a grip on the terrain, but they wear too quick...even the radials like the Trxus MTs. :D

    Just depends on what your priorities are and how deep your pockets go. $1500-$2000 in tires every couple of years probably wouldn't be a game breaker if you had your rig pretty close to how you want it...all the major, high dollar mods done so you were basically just maintaining it. Everything else is just compromise: compromising off-road capability for tread life, or compromising capability for ride comfort. I'm just pretty lucky I get to focus on how many years the tires will last before they dry rot rather than how many miles they can run before they're bald. :cool:

    My set of Trxus MTs I had on the F250 lasted 9 years before they dry rotted and started to separate. I haven't been able to find a tire that would last more than 3 years before rotting on the Honda. The set of Yokohamas I have on it now have been the best so far, but they are starting to crack. Might try Toyos next and see how those do.

    Yeah, but they are also getting pretty smooth. :eek: Now as to whether or not that's 'cause you've been practicing your drifting technique on the pavement is another matter, lol. My Trxus MTs had about 10k on them and they were almost down to the wear bars after 9 years on a 7500 lb truck. I figure they would probably be good for 20k or so on a 4800 lb truck, more on a 1st Gen or a Hilux.

    Edit: I don't expect to wear my Swampers out. I'm either going to destroy them off-road (cutting a sidewall or something) or they are going to rot. I dunno which will happen first although my fenders are chewing the rear ones up pretty bad.

    Haha, this does not come as a surprise. :D

    I think after I get my rear axle squared away and the rubbing issue under control I may check into having the rear tires dismounted and turned around so at least the chewed up side is on the inside.

    I dunno. I'm sort of a fan of a daily-driven trail rig. Mine, for all that I don't drive too far is essentially a daily driver. Unfortunately, depending on what your situation is, a daily-driven trail rig comes with compromises. I kinda feel like if you're gonna have a dedicated trail rig, you should build a buggy...not you specifically, but just in general. Because...well...buggy. :cool:
