What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

I'd probably go with toytec but my hours got cut, only 6 hours a week, so my budget get shot in the eye with a thumb tack. Probably shouldn't do anything but my suspension needs attention.

 

Quiet a bit faster. I refilled my 33x12.5r15s with a ARb and my 35x12.5r15 with a twin. The twin filled the 35'' tire about a minute faster id guess. Quiet a bit faster then the normal one.

Is it worth the money? idk. Depends on usage i think. Id run the twin if i where to get an OBA compressor. Which ive considered. But just too expensive.

 

Gas cap?

 

I considered those tires until I found they don't come in any 15" sizes. Your truck looks amazing. A great stance. Are you running a body lift too?

I love my twin. The CKMTA is significantly faster than the CKMA. The twin is essentially 2 CKMAs put together into a single unit.

The twin is rated at 100% duty cycle. Mine has never reached any limit. I've aired up 3 rigs in a row with it, on a hot summer day, with maybe the slightest slowdown on the 11th and 12th tires. It is stout and faster than anything out their except a CO2 setup.

Im considering selling my current setup has 20k mostly commute miles. Bilstein coil with all pro spring and 5125s in the rear. Maybe sell the dakars too.

Bought some lower ballsack joints from toyota, the right side was more than the left for some reason 290 bucks out the door both sides.

Debating on replacing the uppers or just getting tc or camburg ucas with a uniball.

It was weird because the truck didn't want to start. I did buy gas this morning. I just removed the cap and put it back on and cleared the code. The truck started right back up with no problem. I also check the lines around the charcoal canister and in the engine compartment. everything looked good to go..... thanks for the link tho

 

I wanted to maybe go back to some chrome on my truck but was worried those aftermarket grills the chrome wouldn't be as "shiny"

Ordered TC cam tab gussets today, gonna start the teardown tomorrow if weather permits so I can get the alignment done and try to straighten the bumper.
