Thanks! yeah the black is where it's at. I have a love hate relationship with speedway blue but the black accents are sure helping a ton. Can't wait to install the pelfrey HC rear, that chrome bumper needs to go asap.

Can you take shots of both the driver side and passenger side of the tower and the axle. I want to see how close they come to that small rise in the frame where the bed bolts to please.

Also, at some point can you stuff one wheel and lets see how close that tire is to scrubbing the shock. I'm very curious.

Oh and I love that topper. What did it set you back?which options did you get.

If you are sleeping back there might I suggest Croms write up on adding a vent.

I lucked out and got to order in the first round. Do you have any plans for your extra wind deflector without cutout?

Yes please! I ordered one with a cutout, but it'll probably be awhile until I get a bar. Was soo close to getting the heretic but I think I'll follow your route and get the rigid. Yours is much cleaner looking imo, just need to save up more $$$ and wait for a sale.

I love it but need to figure out how to cut the wind noise. It wasn't bad before but ever since I put the light bar in its a good bit more.. Hoping the C shaped door edge guard stuff will fix it.

Will do, but she wont be fully flexing for a few more weeks. I'm not too worried about scrubbing the shocks, but we'll see how close I get when she's flexed out. Lots to do and not enough time as usual.

I got the topper used from a forum member. It came off a wreaked taco so the rear corner is mashed up with a fair amount of stress cracks and bent window frame. I normally like my things perfect but it's kinda nice working with something already goofed up, I won't feel so bad making it worse on the trail. Options wise it's carpeted with removable front window and slider, regular side window screens, and dog screens over that. It's a huge improvement over the last 3 due to the headroom. Gives me the option for more storage and a bed platform but I'll likely do that as a last resort, it's nice being able to finally sit upright back there. I've always cracked the windows when I'm sleeping back there but now curious what Crom did.

Oh slick and yeah his build thread is super informative! That's a very 'cool' idea especially when in really hot areas. Looks like he doesn't have side sliding windows so it makes sense he needed more ventilation. My big concern with the canopy is height, fingers crossed I fit in the work parking garage as she sits now. It'll be super close
