So I'm off today but my wife does home hospice care and had to go to work. My truck had problems getting out of the driveway. That was the final straw, went and ordered a full set of Firestone Destination ATs from Tire Buyer.so new tires and cool TRD center caps (thanks to JDTaco) for my ride. I went with the Firestones after talking to a dude in WVA who had them on his Frontier 4X4. Well 8 inches of snow here is sunny Southern Md. I hope everyone stays safe and warm.

A fried baloney sandwich with egg, that's good eating Bluegrass. There's A little country store near here that sells baloney "country sliced" which means it's cut pretty thick. You eat what you like, what the Doc don't know....

I hope you were able to hit up What A Burger while you were on the west coast. Local to us is Cheeseburger in Paradise, Five Guys or Ruby Tuesday's. We also have DQ which makes a pretty good burger

I went back to stock size...P245/75R16s. I mostly drive pavement but also farm dirt roads to go plinking or fishing. After talking to Frontier guy I decided that these were more than enough for my needs.

Back when I was still single, and poor to boot, I had a few gems that kept me fat and happy. My #1 breakfast feast was, I'd fry up a skillet full of garlic baloney, then take the grease and make gravy. Toss some bisquits in the oven, and I was in heaven. My kids liked it too, until my wife decided that ANYTHING made with grease was no longer acceptable.

We had a December that was more like September.... BEAUTIFUL weather, warm days, very little rain, and the hope of a mild winter.

That lasted through the first couple weeks of Jan.

    Then it went to hell.

Cold. Snow. More cold. More snow. Occasional cold rain. Then more snow.

    I want HOT weather!

Was it Will Rodgers that said "Everybody complains about the weather but nobody does a Damn thing about it" I do prefer hot temps over the cold, easier to run and bike.
