That 2017 TRD PRO has me interested... full disclosure. I keep telling myself I need a full-size, but realistically why?
I'm certainly not ruling that out either. They are sexy as hell. However, is that little bit of badassery worth it in exchange for poor mileage and a size of vehicle I can't really use? Sure I can haul more shit, but I currently own nothing that I would need to tow (that the Taco couldn't pull). I mean I could tow the car places, but then why the hell even have it? Haha

Another point I thought about, but you do say you want a boat, which the tacoma "could" haul (as long as you don't blow it up). I liked the fullsize more as a comfort, and more power lol. Mileage is honestly almost a wash I think. Expecially when you consider all the mods we do. My 4runner gets worse mileage than most of my friends full size trucks 90% of the time.

If I got a new truck I would get new wheels and slightly larger tires... And that should be it (already know what I would do if I got a pro). If I want a real toy, I will buy an older truck. I'm not sure if it was me you were talking about for the boat thing either. I mean I kinda want one, but that would be after a new truck, a side-by-side or 4-wheeler, and some other shits. I love boats as long as I'm not the one that has to maintain them.

I agree with this entire post. I just don't see myself buying a boat until I were to buy another house and had a place to store it. I struggle storing all of my stuff as is with this apartment livin.

Tiny ass apartment = more disposable income. I would stay in a place no bigger than my bed if I could have a full depth 2 car garage to hold cars and all of my shit as well as giving me room to work on stuff.

Perks of being forced to live in the middle of wyoming i guess lol. Company provides an apartment free of charge. No fees for power or cable or internet. Its not an amazing place by any means but its free. I get it for up to a year if I choose.
