Nice that most of this started with trading stuff I had just laying around... Traded a custom sub enclosure and a pre fab for the 2 d6's and got the crossfire I'm trading for the 9515j from a buddy for delivering the subs for him and buying him an amp in trade for it... Now it's being traded for a 600+ dollar woofer lol I did end up spending a little money tho about 1k total and will have a dd m4 a dd 9515j. A DC level 5 motor currently a 10 on trade for 2 sundown x8's, 2 15" diamond audio d6's. And a fsd audio fz1200 I basically got for 75 bucks cause I traded a fz700 for the crossfire

I currently have a dd m4a. Nothing is hooked up yet, still building. One of my favorite amps. Low voltage beast

Well I picked up the 9515j today... Whoever owned this didn't have it long and destroyed it... The triple joint is fucked and it tore the leads right out

8k on a burp for that sub should have been fine. Was just used and abused. It's what subs are for

may not have been a burp. Music at 8kw will do exactly what happened

Then you should do Bass race or psyclone :). I like Psyclone as your final score has more than one part to it

You'll find the classes and rules for the events in my area here... Sadly I'm considering selling my fi ssd and my Tline to come up with the money to purchase a second 9515j... The guy I traded for the blown one just posted the good one for sale... But he wants 550 as where there's another guy here from Minnesota selling 4 and 3 are brand new for 600 a piece

D1 is what my current is and what I'll get for a second... And run at 1ohm considering they would both see 2k minimum each until I know my rise and if I have a min .25 rise id be willing to wire down to .25 for comp sessions

you mean a 4x rise... then yes you can wire down to .25 :)
Why not just run 2 amps each at 1/2 ohm 3-4 kw per sub. The only real benefit to dropping lower than .5, is if your truly in the running for 1st place nationally in ur class imo and if your not, its really not worth it imo. Besides going up against the other cars with 2 15s and 4 kw they are going to be doing scores much louder than what the taco will do.

Now i mean no offence by any of this, just from my experience. Guys r metering over 150s in street stock with 1kw of power.
