North Georgia Wheeling Trip

Updated map to Jones Creek.

 

Oh and when you're going down Jones Creek, take your first right and if you're first take the first camping spot on your left. It's the biggest one and the spot next to it is fairly close. So depending on how many trucks show we'll have enough room.

I'm planning on leaving Marietta Ga (30 minutes north of Atlanta) around 3:45ish. If you wanna meet up along 575 North let me know!

 

Or 400 North, depending on traffic

 

I'm leaving from 285/400 around 4 on friday but have to stop and pick the GF up from work off exit 14.

 

We may meet and follow you up.. Depends on work Friday

 

Just let me know when, I checked and it looks like you'll have to come down haha. We'd meet in the middle

 

Ya I'm hoping I can work a half day or at least get off by 3:30. Planning to be ready to roll when I get off.

I honestly forgot about this trip (been caught up with work lately) but if we can go, it'll probably be Saturday/Sunday for us. My only issue is finding someone to watch our dogs while we're gone that night. I'll see what I can do and will report back.

What time are you guys hitting the trails Saturday? I need to make sure I have enough time to get up there since I'm on the south side. Also need to know where to meet up.

 

@BYJOSHCOOK since people are leaving to meet us we should just meet at the trail head. First trail is Nimblewill Gap, we can meet at the church right before the turn off or is there a better location?

Saturday is going to be a long day so we should try and get to the trail head around 8:30 - 9:00

 

Not sure where the Church is but that'll probably be the best bet. Once we get a address for that meet there at 8:30-9:00. We will be leaving prior to 9:30 unless somebody is running a little late
