I have both and the PS3 if our system of choice. I hate paying for extra things after the initial purchase. If I want wireless controllers, wireless internet, live and hard drive that is extra for 360 but all is built into the PS3. Our Wii is only for kids and modded for old NES and SNES games. I

dude i hate the 360 controllers i feel like theyre too bulky and just too much like dreamcast...

ps3 controllers are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay lighter and the buttons are easier to press and i hate the trigger on 360 i just cant pull it as fast as i can the ps3....

idk my buddy steven had 360 for years and switched to ps3 and he said he will never go back

and i dont know why everyone raves about 360's online... i feel like its way confusing and ps3's is free and its getting progressivly better as time goes with all the updates.

AND it has blue ray... i use that all the time i love it

but everyone has their own opinions i guess

As a PS3 owner and having played both I can say that the PS3 controller is much smaller and much more comfortable to use. the Xbox controller is like a brick. PS3 has better graphics and a Blu-Ray and all the controllers are wireless. XBox live is better than PSN, but only because you have to pay for it. Xbox also gets RROD and I haven't heard any problems like that with the PS3. IMO I would go for the PS3!

PS3. Considering like 60% of 360s fail I wouldn't waste my money on it.

It's kinda a wash. Both have advantages, both have disadvantages. Right now the graphics are usually slightly better on 360 as it has AA and people already know how to code well for it. I dunno, they're both great systems but I have a 360, and probably would get the same all over again from the start.

I wouldnt' mind a ps3 as well though.

I just got one, and I have had this thought process myself. I went with the PS3. Glad I did. I did like the 360, but it appears that the 360 has reached max potential graphics wise. The PS3 appears to be just starting to hit its peak, performance wise.

I like the PS3 controllers better. The 360 are nice, but I have had PS since the PS1 first came out, so I am kinda bias.

In the end, the choice came down to the Blu-Ray player, and the fact I stated above on the games. I have yet to play online, however unless the PSN crashes when I play I can't see why live would be better. But, like I said I have yet play so I cannot make a educated statement.

Either way, you will happy. Both system have great games.

Just curious. Ive had my 360 since it first came out. I think this xmas will be 3 years since I got it. Never had a problem. I know about the RROD but never had it. Am I just lucky as hell or does it apply only to some systems? I have the premium system too.

The one I had (for about 3 months) never got the RROD either, but it had other problems. Stopped playing DVD's, when I put a game in, it said that "This DVD cannot be played. Please place disc into an Xbox 360 console." I sent it to Microsoft and they fixed it once, but a week after I got it back it did it again, so I said screw it and got a PS3.

I waited in line for my 360 at the ol Wally World on launch day, November 2005. It's still running like a champ.

I did it again. Got tired of paying truck payments and gas and traded in for a 2015 Honda Accord Sport since I enjoyed my 2013 Sport so much.
I did a LOT of research on the 360 and PS3 before buying one.

I got the PS3 and am glad I did.

IMO, it's worth it to get the PS3 just for God of War and Uncharted.

It's also a great media player and I really enjoy having the Blu Ray option now.

    360 ftw

Oh, and I did own a ps3 for about 3 months. Sold it because I never used the damn thing.
