What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

I never felt the same about my 91 Ford Ranger after I faced up to a couple deer.

 

Installed the Bakflip

 

Bit of trip yup!

 

Installed mine this past weekend and love it. Bought some 1/4 x 1/4 brass hose barb and going to see if I can use that to plug the drain hose into the existing holes in the bed. It's not a tight fit in the bed holes so will try to see if using some sprinkler tape on the barb part will help. It appears to be a good concept I've seen on here to avoid drilling bigger holes in the truck bed for the hose.

 

Tossed in my JDM ASTAR 800 lumen reverse bulbs and a cool blue LED dome light someone gave me years ago for the gen 2 PreRunner. Nice!

(later that night) Damn these things are bright! Zero issues with camera glare. I'm impressed.

 

Sitting at the coffee shop across from the alignment shop. I am having Bilstein 5100s installed on all four corners set at 0, hoping to keep the factory rake of 1".

 

As soon as I saw that, I knew he had a black truck without even looking at his info.

 

I like the TRD in place of the V6. Great Idea!!!

Even when it's not... reflection just isn't quite as clear. Still better reflection than a dirty truck of any other color.

Can anyone confirm if the H11 will fir the low beams and hi fog lights?
I want to use the XYellow in the fogs and the Phillips in the low beams.

 

Yes H11 will fit.

No problem. I know the Limited uses the H16 for their fog lights, but the Offroad and sport models use H11.

 

Thanks. I was new to all this too. Toytec Ultimate Lift Kit, Total Chaos upper control arms, TRD Pro Wheels (17 inch) and KO2 275/70/17 tires. Katzkin leather (Graphite with Barracuda in the center). I love the look, but waited almost 3 months for mine. Got a good deal. Prob paid more than necessary for the mods, but since I can't do it all myself, Toyota did it and backs it 100%.

 

Haven't messed much with new car wiring. How difficult is it to install (especially hook into wiring)?

 

This install does not require you to hook into any factory wiring. It does run to the battery. Install was incredibly easy with the detailed instructions you'll get from @mattgecko. The install is a little time consuming and would be helpful with an extra set of hands. I did it by myself in under 2 hours.

 

It is totally do able. Set a day 10am-5pm one weekend and devote your full attention to it. You should have little to no issues. The Ebay auction will come with everything you need plus you get very nice detailed instructions and you have us to help!! Post pics when your done!!
