Good deal, I saw "gasket" and went o_O if he's gotten this far surely he knows to replace both. A little shocked to see a head gasket failure at 165,000. Valve cover sure, but not a head gasket. Hope everything goes well!

4.88. And if Andrew has an MT then I would suggest 4.56. AT, then sure, 4.88.

@Acerwin - you mt or at?

Thanks, trying to plan a lift for it that will allow me to put some bigger tires on it and also support a front pelfrybuilt bumper with a winch and a rear CBI bumper and tire rack, hi lift mount, and tank mount.

Wouldn't a degreaser lead to premature aging and dry rot of your tires since rubber is a petroleum based product?

Yeah, 4.88 for sure if you have an auto. As an FYI, engine rpm is roughly 2300 at 70mph. Mpg aren't that great (about 15mpg) but worth it for sure if you do any offroad or, in my case, tow a trailer.

Definitely not everything at one time. Small things here and there. Just planning for the future.

I hear you. And planning is important to avoid costly mistakes. I am starting over with a 2015 after selling my 01 Xcab, which I had pretty well dialed in and hated doing, but had to. So I'm back to square one. But I also know a lot more now and will take this one further.

I'm sure it would, if it were left on for a while. It is a water soluble product that was thoroughly washed off, and was not on the tire for very long.
