I love the new pro but either looking for 2016 Tacoma TRD sport tech pkg or 2016 4Runner Trail by end of this year.

There are lots of options that allow the stock head unit to be retained while upgrading to actual quality components. Check out the AudioControl LC6i, http://www.audiocontrol.com/car-audio/factory-system-upgrade/lc6i/

I understand that some people like to just buy from the factory and not deal with upgrades, so I guess it depends on how much effort someone is willing to expend. However, if you enjoy the quality of Porsche's Burmeister systems I just can't see how you would enjoy the junky paper cone JBL garbage that Toyota passes off as an "upgrade."

Anyways, if you decide to upgrade in the future maybe something like the LC6i is something to consider at least :)

Yeah I got mine . Happy with it. Going to be fun watching dealers bend over buyers without a kiss.

Previous TRD Pro also had longer travel than other models, I think a couple of inches, but I'd have to look up exact numbers. It was not a long travel system though, and all images of the 2017 show a similar layout so expect the same in terms of travel length.

The Fox shocks are suppose to ride like the Raptor. Something about the dual rate so it's stiffer when you compress it pass a certain point.

And the 2018 Ford Ranger will be less than that also would be my guess.

In about 3 more years I will potentially retire from work and buy a new TRD Pro. This will be part of my retirement gift to myself. Time to spoil myself without regard to money. and I don't want the size of a full-size truck. Call it a Lexus and many would think $40K is a good deal.

I was hoping toyota...so there would be some kind of warranty with it. Unfortunately chances of that happening are pretty slim. I'm sure there would be some kind of aftermarket...not too sure I would be interested in that if it messes with the reliability part. Either way I love the trd pro and i'm in no rush to buy one, gonna drive my jeep until it dies.

Yeah I was aware of it...couldn't toyota still do one with a different name or something? I mean they still offer TRD performance parts and what not... 3 of 5 of their model packages have TRD in the name.
