I saw the picture and recognized the bottle right away :). You guys are right! Aerospace 303 is really good stuff but for more than just the black stuff. My husband said it protects things from UV and he has me use it on everything that is not painted. I use it on the dash, doors, weatherstrips, leather seats, and other stuff :). It doesn't make everything really slippery or shiney either.

EPA estimates are just that, and often produce better results than you'll get in actual street driving. In Canada, the Gov is now doing more stringent testing of MPG (here it's Litres/100Kms) According to the Toyota Canada website, on a LB 4X4 V6, you should be getting 17.9MPG City, and 22.4 MPG Hwy.

I've never seen that with about 1200 miles on my truck now, typically I'm in the 15 -17 MPG range in the city, and I'm light footed. But then again, I'm not complaining about it.

You expressed how I feel, exactly! I was getting 18+ mpg per tank in my '15 TRD 4x4 DCSB, and I liked that truck better than this '16 TRD DCSB.

Mine has improved over time. I started off with 15-16, but now I'm at 3,200 miles and I'm happy...but always looking for better.

Yes. My average mpg is at 20 right now because I have over 200 miles of off roading that gets anywhere from 4 to 10 mpg. It would be around 22-23 if not. It's g the 3.5 v6. I have mud flaps and bunch of recovery gear behind the seats. That's all that will affect mpg.

I did 200 miles on Friday to Calico. Did around 20 miles in the hills and got 5mpg. Then drove home at 70mph and got 20.8mpg overall for the whole day.

Every tank has been slowly getting better as I learn it and it learns me. This tank doesn't count because I ended up sitting idle for an hour because of something that happened. That screws up your empeegees.

My rwd is averaging 17-18 all in town driving at 25-35-45 mph. My 2000 and 2008 got better mileage. This one just looks better getting me there. At under $1.45 a gallon how can any of us complain. I had a stock low mileage 1985 351 h.o. full size Bronco on 32's that got 11.5 highway and 7.5 mpg in the city. I rest my case.

Curious, why did you like the '15 more than the '16? No argument to be had, just curious why the 15 was more appropriate for you? I owned a '12 DCLB and it was a nice truck, but I definitely feel the 16 is a better built truck, less rattles for me, more expensive feeling, and the functionality is all there.

The one thing I do notice is the engine doesn't feel as smooth, and I have a pretty wicked surge when accelerating with the new engine. It isn't nearly as linear.
