If it's been 30 years since you've been here? Then yes it's a lot different. The first thing you will notice is traffic. But as much as things change, some stay the same.

 

For whatever reason, me nor my wife has any desire to go to Hawaii. We have been all over the Caribbean, but I won't mind if we never make it to Hawaii. It just strikes me as too commercial.

 

Oahu is very commercialized. That is why you go to the other islands.

 

Thanks. I'm surprised I didn't royally screw something up. Wish I knew how to install lifts and whatnot, been looking at some stuff but the local shops are wanting to charge an arm and a leg to install stuff.

Tons of research on here.. But before you lift.. Make sure you define what you are looking to do with your truck.. The worst thing you can do is spend tons of money on a lift and never take it anywhere..

Well it's mostly on-road driving that I do when I do drive. But the reason I'm wanting to do this stuff to it is because I would like to get into off roading. Probably won't be able to do any seriously expensive stuff any time soon. The place I went to tried to get me to buy a Rough Country 3" lift but it seems cheap as hell. Spacers in the front and blocks/shocks in the rear.

I can see this truck getting expensive in the long run. So much stuff I want.
