What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

Should be a 35mm, but a 36mm works just fine. A little loose, but won't strip it out due to the large size.

 

Dang, good to know. Was told to get a 36mm socket. Will probably go ahead and buy a 35mm socket anyways before it's time to swap the cv's.

 

Speaking of CV's I just put my rebuilt ones with the ORS high angle poly boots with boot slide mod last Monday and then finally got my rear lift on on Friday and my winch on satuday and finally got an alignment today (will post results) and tomorrow is tint Alignment is pretty good from what I know...

 

All I care about are the wheels...

They look good. I have the ATPs but may want to try those when I need new tires

 

Got a 36MM at lowes, fits pretty close to how the 1-7/16's socket fit, hopefully it works (The 1-7/16's was just a little to loose, it didn't round it but I felt like it was about to)

 

I've always preferred summit bars (think that's what they're called. Basically what mine are) over the head light hoops. But on the 01-04 they do look good

 

Would be somewhat the reason I am swapping front ends...should happen soon...

Looks good, but I agree, the hoops don't look right, don't know if it's the front end, or if it's because I cut mine down some so they're pretty much even with the center hoop.

Thats the pic that made me want to get a relentless fab bumper.

 

I like the idea of the pods mounted on the bumper and angled out, I may try that if I ditch my light bar.

 

Yeah, that's what happens when you're fog light mounts don't get welded on haha

Those pods are now on some ditch light brackets.

 

I ordered my kit without the pod cutouts, I should've spent the extra $50.
I ended up adding them later but they don't look great.
