I like this thread. It's like a poster child thread for definitions and distinctions between super helpful and superfluous cock sucker.

    Ask Devin. lol

I guess I backed myself into that one...

I know! I would be down for a monthly or biweekly one in the springs/pueblo. That place in the springs is better than Dickeys. lol

I'm looking at doing my switchpro install here soon. I have 2 lights rated at 96w per light. Each circuit is rated at 18 amps. (96/12)2=16amps or vehicle running at 14v (96/14)2=13.5ish amps. The circuit is rated at 18, not sure how I feel about a 2 amp headroom. I'll try and get some start-up spikes with my amp-meter tomorrow.

The whole point, I thought, of the switchpro was to eliminate the need for fuse boxes and relays. I'm not sure I like a circuit rated at 18 amps running 16 amps continuous.

I good rule of thumb is that a circuit can be loaded to 80%.

Damn no wonder those lights are so damn bright. That's a lot of draw. @steezemcqueen what does Switch Pro think?

    Stuff and junk and things...

Those Fox's are not the latest and greatest in the 1st gen Raptor and are/were very undersized for a 6K+ truck. The BFG's were supposedly a special compound on the raptor. The KO2 is basicly the same tread pattern as the KO but a better all around compound. My brother put a set on his F350 and the rears are chunked to shit after 4K. I have Duratracs on all my vehicles. 315's on the tacoma, my DD 3rd gen Cummins, and 265's on my wife's 5th gen 4Runner. They work well for me, I will see whats available in 40K when the T4R and dodge tires finally wear out.

Sorry to be jumping into this thread a little late. Just throwing these into the mix: Cooper Discoverer MTP. They just came out last month so not many reviews. They are a Discount Tire exclusive so you won't be finding them at other tire dealers as far as I know. I've had em on my truck for a few weeks now and am pretty happy with them. They did really well in the snow but not as good as the Duratracs. For the aggressive tread pattern I was quite surprised at the noise level. They aren't quiet but considering that they are MT's the noise level was quieter than I expected. I haven't tested them in dry trail conditions yet for obvious reasons (it's still winter). The best thing about this tire however is the price. You can't beat it. I was seriously considering some Mastercraft Courser MXT's after looking at Phil's truck but when I saw these and the price tag... I was sold.

Apparently they changed the shocks for 2017. 3" bodies now. I am a fan of the Duratracs, the sidewalls can't hang on my current work truck, but they saved my bacon on my last one! I call BS on a special compound, unless their special compound is rubber. Everyone here seems to like Cooper ST MAXX. I have AT/3 on my old F250 and I took a huge chunk out of the sidewall a year ago and never lost air. very impressive.

TRD Pro 17' with 265/70/17 BFG KO2, blacked out grill and emblems, Toytec Boss 2.0 kit w/aal, relentless fabrication 8" bed bars, Insain fabrication front bumper with Warn M8000S winch, Factor 55 flat link, cmc, RCI metal works front and control arm skids, bottle opener.
I have the KO2's in 265/70/17 and like them. I have had zero issues on snow or ice, grip was great and no issues stopping. Quiet on the highway. Did amazing when we went snow wheeling in 18"-24" deep snow. Allowed me to get up a hill that a 2 other vehicles, 1 with toyo's and 1 with original BFG AT's, could not get up. Just my 2 cents.
