I have the bumpers from exp-one coming. hopefully they'll in around Friday or Monday. I had the front made with only the center hoop and not the ones around the headlamps. And the winch was friggin expensive! lol

    LT265/75R16E Duratracs.

Should be fun, will report on offroad effectiveness.

Our winter has been very mild so I've taken the winters off super early this year. But Duratracs have a good reputation in snow anyway.

Duratracs are E rated but very light for the rating. They come in C as well, they just didnt have any in stock.

That said they have a heavy rolling resistance, so it will impact the mileage more than a Toyo Open Country AT2 E, which weighs more, but had lower rolling resistance.

I wanted a mud terrain, but kept finding myself wanting better street performance so I went with the Duratrac.

I like how the emergency brake moved, IMO nothing was lost. Sure you lost the small pocked for a phone to sit sideways or even a couple pens to sit perfectly. But you gain an extra cup holder, and I have a spot for my phone now.... the Wireless charger. :p

    I guess it's all preference.

Remember the number they give you is negotiable. Go through their report and make sure everything that is on your truck is accounted for. When my '14 was totaled I had them redo it twice.

    Jason,
Thanks for the heads-up on the possible TSB. I did some searching and could find nothing about a TSB 000179. The site toyotaproblems.com doesn't show any TSBs for the 2016 Tacoma. I will call around to a couple of different dealerships tomorrow to see what I can find out.
On a separate note. I wasn't happy how the fuel cap tether had seemed to shorten, making it impossible to hang the cap from the door latch like on my '15. Two, separate Toyota parts departments assured me the '15 & '16 Tacos used the same part, meaning their tethers were the same length. My fuel door had two small holes. One was taken up by the tether and the other was a little closer to the latch so I moved the tether to the hole closer to the latch. Now the fuel cap will hang from the fuel door latch like it did in my '15. It's the little things…

    Nothing yet....im a poor bastard.
i bought them for $35 bucks off a guy in the dallas area. they came with brackets. I found a spot under the bumper and used an existing bolt. Ill do a good write up this weekend after my mountian bike race. Running the wire to the front was the worse part.

unfortunately banks need to see at least a year of payments before it impacts your credit.
