Did a little mild off roading in the unfriendly neighbor state to the west. Minnesota = worthless. :)

I got grill from a guy in California actually. It's a Rad Industries grill and skid plate I covered the letters in a grey vinyl. The skid plate is great too it goes way back to and actually covers the important stuff. Shoot Dan an email if your interested I think he might be making another batch. racing@rad-industries.com

I like Rad Industries' stuff. That grill is freakin killer!!! I think I just found what I'll be replacing my grill with if my truck ever decides to show up

Not a single one when I went out there. I heard on the news the new "camps" if we're talking about the homeless folks is off the cliff of diamond head not visible from the road.

Daaaamn that is expensive, but very nice! Lol

Thanks bro, yeah it was sketchy being there early in the morning and evening when I went to surf, the bathrooms were nasty. They had set up it up to make it their own and would come and scream at you & why you going through "their" stuff in a public bathroom, you couldn't park your car without worrying about it being jacked. Plus Sandy's was a huge tourist spot, so I was surprised they were there for so long. I surf diamond head too, I guess now I'll just have to worry about over there. I can't wait to head back this weekend and pick up my truck.

Oh yeah I remember seeing that a few years ago at sandys. There's usually a cop there on the weekends to keep the peace and stuff. That's cool man, I went out to Tongs for the first time with my old roommate. Definitely wanna get back on a board and get better. That was my first real surfing experience.

Oh and what did you order? Are you picking up from Servco or shipping it from the mainland?

Nice! That's exactly what I initially wanted but with parking spaces and the potential of buying an apartment and those garages being tight, the long bed would've been a problem. What color? I can help with the alarm install if you're planning to do that. I've worked on my previous 4Runner with remote start as well. Let's meet up when you get in, I live in town.

Where do you live that you go to Havasu for the summer? I would expect it to be a snowbird destination if anything. Ha, I'm a weather wuss, so don't listen to me. I like Havasu and the area.

Planet Ranch Road is about 20 miles south of Havasu. If you are local, you probably know of far more interesting places, I just stumbled on it years (like 15 years) ago while exploring the area. It used to be an awesome trail with some really cool water crossings and it connected up with other roads so you could make a more interesting trip. Now it's closed just a few miles in, so it may not be worth the trip out there unless you are just curious. What is open is just a rough dirt road.

Sorry for the late response on this. I did in fact get my truck back, turns out 6 teeth got sheared off the ring gear. Thankfully I had the truck towed to my place so it could be thoroughly washed before I got it towed to the dealership. Thank god I did this because this whole thing got covered under warranty. My service rep said, " This is very unusual but this truck doesn't look like its ever been abused so it must of be a defective part."

Took 3 1/2 weeks for them to get a whole new diff sourced and installed but the truck is back and now the fun begins.

I wasn't going to post up a tread about this due to the fact that it wasn't souly the trucks fault. I had a gopro on at the time of the failure, its hard to watch.
