Thanks for all the detail and information. I will be running stock other than rims, tires, the Fox lift and Total Chaos UCA's. Looks like I will need 2 different sized spanner wrenches to adjust the coils, right? Any recommended retailers that may have them at cheaper than $50 a pop?

No worries. And no, only one spanner wrench is needed. Fox went from the two collars to a split single collar, the collar is secured with an Allen bolt. The collar is adjusted by using this wrench. Don't cheap out on a Chinese wrench. This tool will take a beating when you adjust the coil overs. And you will need it to adjust and dial in your coils after they settle. I would go trough Wheelers or Toytec but thats just me. I value a great purchasing experience and follow on support over saving a buck or two any day.

This is what the single lock ring and collar lock bolt looks like.

A good friend of mine once said, "the correct number of bikes you should have is one more." If his wife asks he always has one less...

I am very interested in this as I have been playing around with my unit for the purpose of doing a trip into Europe with it. If you could I would really like to know what type of restrictions I am going to have before I make a mistake and my truck wont be able to travel with me.

Soo, took the truck for its 84 mile test loop with fully loaded racks and cargo. It averaged 15.8-16.6 MPG @ 80MPH. When the rack is empty the truck averages 17.5-18.2 MPG @ 80MPH on the same loop. I also discovered that the shop that installed the Alarm, managed to disable the truck's ARB set up. The Factory window visors or whatever those things are called. Vibrate due to the snorkels wind buffeting effect. I adjusted one of the rungs on the rack due to vibrations at 40 MPH, but now I have a sort of wind blowing on a bottle sound going on. Will work on that tomorrow, I think have an idea of what might be causing the whistling.
The good news is the truck handles and rides beautifully. Here are some junky phone pics while I was fueling up.

So, I took the truck out on test loop #3, 120 miles of mixed country roads and 80MPH HW sprints. I wanted to eliminate the noises coming from the effects of the wind on the body after the installation of the snorkel and the roof rack. I was able to narrow down the visor clicking to the front corner of the passenger rear window visor. Some graphite solved that issue. The howling sound coming from the roof was a different story. I took crossbars off, moved them around, fiddled with the wind deflector both lowering and raising it. And the howling would not go away. I tried swearing at it, sweet talking to it, but still it would make the gut wrenching whine. So I went scientific. I started to systematically tape over groves, slits, holes and anything that seamed even remotely suspect. After 4 Hours of adjusting, pulling over to relook and readjust, I found it. The rack is now barely louder than the factory bar with the crossbars deployed.

And here is the source of all that noise!

    IMG_4061.jpg
    IMG_4063.jpg

The noise was the result of a prank by one of my friends, it made the bike's head tube behave like a bottle neck, but much, much lauder.

The truck looks great! Are you sure that's a Z-Series canopy though?

    Thanks!

Yes, it has "upgraded" (trutfully overpriced poorly made) windoors. I had them redo the rear rails as well, they are shorter than normal, that and the windoors might trow it off a bit.

    Hi, Dave...

    It's been a while.

Can you now divulge some of your secrets?

It would be interesting to know the rules of the countries that you have to EXPO through.

    Cheers!
