Ha! Now if only they could get my HCB out the door!

Thanks Nate! Lots planned for this year but little funds and time right now.

Im packing the truck up for a ice fishing trip this weekend. Hopefully by next weekend I'll be trading some fresh walleye for some help cutting my bedsides off. (@Bsheriff11) :anonymous:

Some pictures from this weekend. Don't have many because, well, it was around -15F with the wind chill. Didn't have much luck fishing either. Caught some slammer yellow perch, and a really nice large mouth, but other than that it was really quiet.

The ST MAXX never cease to amaze me. Trust me I put them to the test this weekend.

Also, came home to some Trail Toys EZ Views and some edge trim. Really excited about the mirrors. Hopefully Ill get a chance to get them on soon.

Oh, and bumper ships early next week. :woot:

Sweet! I just installed a HC swing out this past weekend. Was fun and a new learning experience for sure.

    Done.

Yall did a lot of cutting that weekend! Solid work. How did the grinder do? Do you think a dremmel would be easier to manage?

I think using a Dremmel would take a month!

If you are concerned about using an angle grinder (size, weight -> control) you could try a smaller air powered cut off tool. They use a 3" wheel, and are small and easy to hold. Just don't let the air line get tangled up.

Just mark the line with a couple layers of tape, and go slow. Beer afterwards. ;)

Need at least one drink first to take out the jitters. I did mine side by side with a buddy, he used an air saw sorta like a saw zaw and I used a grider with cutoff wheel. Both was a success but I felt more comfortable with the grinder. Plus I felt like the cutoff wheel would make a straighter cut being that the air saw cuts like a jig saw.

    Can't argue that.

An air tool will be smaller and lighter than a similar electric tool - possible easier to control, less fatigue, etc.

This job is much harder mentally than physically! Don't psyc yourself out.

@Bsheriff11 you have an air cut-off tool? If not ill bring one down.

Perfect. USPS is just throwing my shit all over the place now.

Any trouble with the air cut-off burning the paint? Those things zip.

I do, but it's rpms were to high for me to feel comfortable cutting my truck for the first time, which is why I used a dremel, took only a few extra minutes per side and I had complete control and no issues with paint.

Finally got my TT EZ View mirrors on. Definitely use a heat gun or hairdryer. These things are awesome but are going to take some time to get used to. They really come in handy having reduced visibility with the cap.

Also for you patch whores... Sorry for the shitty pic. It was dark.
