What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Yea that's a full size truck with big v8 gas mileage

 

Those plus the ones in the grill are blue emergency lights (fire fighter)
How ever they are bright as hell and they sell them in solid clear. Have not seen them in person so not sure of the output.
Cobra 1x is what I have on the angle mounted on relentless fog light bracket.
All there light even ones meant for the interior are waterproof. Bought the 1x off of a fellow member and cut down the bracket to mount.
Cobra t6 mounted in the grill flush mount.

Been thinking of getting some in clear for rock clearance lighting but I'm a little away from needing that in my build.

Cleaned up the tail gate a bit. This took me about 30 minutes with a hair dryer, some fishing wire (I used 8lb, wish I had 15lb though), and some goo gone.

Stupid question, just out of curiosity thanks to an event that took place today. Not that I'd be doing anything about it anytime soon, but curious.

Got a 2nd little one on the way at the end of this month, so today we took my existing little one's seat from the middle of the back seat, and put it behind my seat. Obviously, being in the middle, and because of the way the car seat is (size and the way it sat), it put a huge "dent" into the middle seat cushion.

How hard is it to replace the back seat? Just the part that your back is up against. If it's easier to help answer I can shoot out to the truck and snap a pic real quick.

I have twins so my back seat, both sides, have the same dents. I went on a business trip for 5 days and took the seats out to keep my luggage in the back seat. By the end of the trip the dents were gone. Maybe you won't have to replace yours??

Thanks! And bad ass that you have twins by the way! I doubt mine will go away... it's pretty "nasty". Car seat has been like that, pressed up against it, for about a yeah and a half. Only took it out for a day all together if I add up the amount of hours I had it out.

 

Installed the rear view relocation bracket from immryo today. It greatly improves visibility. Highly recommended.

 

How's yours stick out?

 

From that angle about a half-ish inch less. I have the TRD wheels which probably makes the difference.

 

Yeah. Most of my rubbing came from the plastic behind the front bumper which I don't think you have due to the different bumper.

 

A question for anyone running a blue sea fuse box, what gauge wire did you run from the battery to the box?

 

Same here , they pop back out over time thankfully

 

I'm hoping you and @simplehuman are right! Or else I'll have to look into replacing it. Don't think I could "deal" with it looking messed up. Just the way I am!

 

Drove her to work. Gonna get a nice wash and wax tonight though. We recently had snow so she's covered in salt and road grime.

 

Now you have a good excuse to get a new bumper with a winch
