Hey guys im sorry if this is a repost but i cannot find anything on here that adresses the issue im having. Trucks a 2009 dcsb trd and yesterday the truck started beeping, its 2 beeps and it seems random, it does it with the truck off, key nowhere near it. It woke me up in the middle of the night I went out and there wasnt any signs of a attempted break in and nothing is missing. I noticed the Red Theft Light ontop of the steering collumn is on constantly now. I tried removing both battery cables and i cleaned some corrosion off them and re attached and now the same issue. No indicator lights on, truck starts and run fine it just wont stop beeping. If I hit the lock button it stops beeping for awhile and then starts again. Also the alarm button on the key fob doesnt work now. Has anyone had this issue? Im thinking its either the key fob or possibly a relay but i cant find a issue with either and I avoid the dealer at all cost. Thanks in advance!

Sorry I got nothing. You have some aftermarket add on there. Toyota doesn't have a Red Theft Light On Top of the steering column.

Ok I wasn't even aware the truck has a aftermarket theft system I'll have to look into that, it still uses the factory key fob though? Anyways I was driving it earlier and it now beeps even while it's running which got me some looks in traffic lol I pulled into a lot and unplugged the battery and then cycled the alarm a couple of times and the beeping has stopped for now hopefully for good! Well see if the truck decides to wake the neighborhood up again tonight
