Hey anyone around Crystal River Florida?
Im heading there for spring break and taking the taco, I remember when I was last there a few years ago there are all kinds of little back roads that are just dirt and sand that look like they may be fun to explore...
However if I sink my truck in some swamp be nice to know if anyone is around

 

no one that I know of. @1stgen goes to Homosassa, FL to fish I believe which is just south of there

 

Yeah Homosassa is just a few minutes south! Tampa is only around a hour I think

Anyone in here near cape Canaveral that is running 4.56 or 4.10 gears and like 33s? I'm debating on re gearing and want to get a feel for what the change might be

 

You really don't need a regear for 33s.....4.56s are way too low of a gear for 33s. IF you did a regear on 33s, then 4.10s would be a good set

 

Only reason I'm tossing it up is bcuz some people do. I'm planning on 33s but with towing a boat and the armor I plan to have one day it might help.

 

4.56 would be overkill. Go with what Chris said (4.10)

 

Do you have an inkling that you would ever want to go bigger than 33's?

So back to my original question, does anyone near cape Canaveral have this setup? Doesn't matter if it's 4.56 or 4.10. As long as your runnin 33s with gears id like to check it out

 

I tow a boat with 34's and an ARB bumper plus a winch and getting sliders. Still running stock gears. Boat is an 18 ft. Bow rider. Truck runs fine. Depending on the size of boat you are hauling 33's should be fine with stock gears. My sister tow's her 21 ft center console key west with a 225 on the back with her RAV4. She has taken it to the keys and all over.

 

With a full tank of ass, my boat and trailer is just over 5k. It's a struggle but it's not so bad. Gears would definitely help, especially if I go up a tire size. Lol

 

My brother lives in Crystal river off of fort island trail so if you need help you can give me a holler

A metal clunk on the driver side while braking at slow speeds, almost feels like axle rotation I had in my old jeep but not sure what it could be, any ideas?
