I do. And I love it. 10k lb synthetic for just over $400
Its definitely on the loud side compared to the warn. But I have heard if you change the grease in the gear box it helps. It doesn't bother me. I have pulled close to 10 trucks out of ditches in the snow one was an f 350 king cab.also pulled a full size Tahoe out of a ditch with a full load of adults that just set in there like pansy's. The 10 k is strong and if your not carefull you could break some shit. I have had it for over a yr now and have used it close to 20 times mostly on others but have pulled my self out as well. Make sure to go through it and tighten all the srews and bolts before you mount it, as mine had a lot of loose bolts.including the wire connections inside the control box.

Well this work week has been complete crap. Found out yesterday we lost our biggest client, half our office got fired and now today I found out I'm being shipped off 2 days a week out to an old friend of my bosses to help pay for me. Just what you want to hear when you have a kid due in 5 months. Looks like the old resume will need to be updated. :annoyed:

Has anyone seen the teaser/ prototype pics of the AT Overland pop-up camper? Here are a few I screen-shotted from their FB page. They blurred the tent photos.

    image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg

All aluminum and instant awning. 350lbs. Supposedly around $5k - $7k. The tent is waterproof- no rainfly required. Maybe I should have waited...

i know it is still shitty but you're not the ones that were fired at least. Also good that they're attempting to get your salary covered.

I would definitely start applying though, never hurts to anyway. There was no warning or trouble that might have alerted you sooner that you could possibly lose the biggest account? Or was that above your pay grade?

Yeah it's been quite a week. Was told yesterday all the admin will be fine, only to hear this from another coworker today. I'm done waiting around for things to figure themselves out and going to start looking for a new job.

I'll be fine for now, just not going to sit on my hands anymore waiting. I love my bosses, but they are making a horrible decision by potentially letting me go and letting another person in the office stay. I'm tired of office politics and the whole last in, first to go mentality.

No clue on my end and my bosses always knew it might be a possibility at some point, but there was no warning for it happening right now.

shitty. I've sadly been at the end of three companies going under. One thing i do know is, it does get better. Things do move on.

    Good luck!

    That'll look awesome.

Wish I had gotten 5 wheels. Perhaps I still can.... kind of doubt it though.

    Sorry to hear that Robert.

I got my job through LinkedIn. Was at the same company for 11 years and someone contacted me at the right time. My cousin and a few other people switched jobs due to a LinkedIn contact. Worth a shot and its a good place to post your resume for recruiters to see (good and bad...). Plus, you can update your profile on the smartphone.

It's screwed up, but it's so much easier to get hired when you already have a job. Good luck man.

    Thanks.

I saw how easy it was to "modify" the stock spare carrier to accommodate slightly larger than stock tires (i.e., beat the shit out of the 4 prongs and if necessary relocate the hoist attachment points slightly @Crom), which would allow me to not sacrifice bed space for a full-size spare. I'd been thinking what if I am in BFE Utah when I get a flat, and it's the kind that my plug kit won't fix, and I've got a steely with different offset and a smaller, lamer tire not capable of enduring the path ahead of me....fuck that shit.

BTW, I really dig the Stealth 6s, and if they came in 16, they would have been in the race. Besides your truck, there are a few others I've seen with them where I just said, wow.

Oh dude. I'm sorry. That's rough. But sounds like the boss is taking some measures to keep you afloat the best he can.

Well thank you good sir for the kind words. It was love at first site for me when I saw the Stealth 6s. I didn't even know that SCS was all the rage at the time!
I have not ventured into serious wheeling where I would be stranded without a full size spare, but I will someday.
Looking forward to seeing your truck with SCS!

The reason we stick with 16s is they are better for offroad :cookiemonster:
