    Thanks, man!

I did the shitty spacer lift, so I feel for ya.

Well, I went with Rock Blokz, but they aren't working. They are for oversized tires, but they are way too short for a lifted truck. I think that I may have head over to the 5th Wheel Truck Stop in Belleville and get some flaps for a big rig, then use the ones that I have as a template for shape and hole pattern before I cut them down to a size that actually works. If you have any ideas on a source for some raw material that would work, I'm all ears.

    Whereabouts are you?

They are flimsy plastic like the rokbloks or rally armour and they are dirt cheap to buy and you can cut them how you like

I'd have to source those cutting boards elsewhere. The nearest IKEA is 2 hours away.

Do you know the dimensions of the cutting boards to start with?
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------

EDIT: I think I found them.

Oh ya that's them, you could take the wife for a nice drive and get some meatballs and cinnamon buns and a truck load of garbage furniture.

Or you could just order them but shipping would probably be more then what they are worth

There is only red and baby puke green available at $2.99. No black. They are also too short at 14 1/2". It would be great to find some raw material.

No worries. I was considering the aluminum however my trucks heavy as it is and I don't mind the no cover look (use to run a tonneau cover). Plus I want to build a backrack, bed rack kinda deal. Lol. Hopefully that turns out lighter than a cap.

Hey I've been looking around and can't find anything that's going to be even reasonable to purchase.

I seen you got cover kings did you order front and back and how much were they

... I was thinking about a bed rack, but I want shelter my gear from the elements when we do our east coast/Newfoundland and Labrador trip in a couple of years. An RTT is in the future. I don't do any serious bone jarring, part smashing offroading, so weight is no concern. I'm in no hurry. If I find a good deal, I'll probably store it in the barn until I'm ready to use it.

    Thanks, man!

Hey, thanks for looking for the material. I'm going to check out the truck centre at the Fifth Wheel for big rig flaps, then cut those down to size.

I have Rock Blokz that aren't worth a shite on a lifted truck. Here's some pics from yesterday right after a thorough power wash and shammy. I've rebranded them as Mud Blots.

As for your CoverKing question, yes, front and rear (#1E4 Ballistic Tactical). I think that I paid $478 for both, including an extra set of MOLLE bags (last Black Friday Sale at 25% off). I had them shipped to a US address and then brought up by friends.

I dragged it down the 401 to home yesterday.

Leer 100XL, frameless windows, with a Thule Rack (75kg dynamic load). It needs a little work: new latch, paint runners, re-glue window seal. I think the black will look good on my truck.

$750 CAD plus $60 in gas. A fare bit of money for the missus, but I cooled her off by remodelling the upstairs MB with all new flooring and trim ($550.). Looks good.

I have to take her shopping tomorrow, since she gave me permission to buy my OFRATTW switches only if I take her out shopping tomorrow. Go figure. Let the games continue.

I have a plan, 35 wonderful years with her and counting.

    It's all good.

$750, plus $60 to $85 in fuel, and four hours round trip to go get it. I went and got it with my dump trailer.
